Meet Rex Stevens, Chiropractor
Dr Rex Stevens received his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Parker College in Dallas, Texas. He has done post-graduate work in Chiropractic Neurology through the prestigious Carrick Institute, Performance Enhancement and Wellness Care. He received his B.S. from Cal Poly, SLO, in pre-physical therapy. Prior to Chiropractic school Dr Stevens worked as a PT aide for Sierra Vista Hospital rehab unit. He also spent 2 years teaching 8th grade physical science in Sunnyvale, CA.
Dr. Rex is a member of International Chiropractic Association and American Chiropractic Association. He stays actively involved in many local groups including Executive Networking, acts as medical personnel for many athletic events, and is a SLO Chamber of Commerce member. As a passionate educator, he is a regular health writer for local publications including the Tolosa Press, and is a sought after wellness speaker.
Dr. Rex received his first adjustment after injuring his shoulder lifting weights. Soon thereafter he not only made movement changes to improve his health, but also applied multiple wellness strategies to reduce chronic allergies and indigestion.
He is married to Dr. Molly Stevens, and is a proud father of two boys, Kellen and Leyton as well as twin girls Blake & Sadie.
