My Passion
I love working with all ages! My practice is grounded by a strong foundation in Grief Counseling, Depth and Mindfulness-oriented psychotherapy, Humanistic Sandtray Therapy, and the transformative creative experience of SoulCollage®. I have counseled individuals, couples, and families, including children and teens, helping each client develop new coping skills and a stronger internal system of resilience to navigate the difficult terrain of:
- anxiety/depression
- relational/work distress
- divorce
- grief, loss and bereavement
- major life transitions
I find a special joy working alongside children and adolescents, encouraging the growth and development of their unique voice, inner sense of worth, and the tools necessary to handle the many changes and disruptions that they face, including:
- anxiety/depression/self harm
- self esteem
- body image and eating disorders
- sexual identity
My Training
My graduate degree is from Pacifica Graduate Institute, (2008), where I received my Master of Arts in Counseling, with an emphasis on Depth Psychology. I have pursued post graduate training in grief therapy and SoulCollage®. Professionally, I have worked as a counselor at Hospice of SLO, Wilshire Hospice, Community Counseling Center of SLO, and in private practice.

Take South Bay Blvd towards Los Osos. Turn Right on Los Osos Valley Road and drive through town. Turn Left on Bay View Heights Drive and Turn Right into driveway of Optometric Associates (2231 Bayview Heights Drive) and park in back. Entrance for my office is in the back of the building.
From San Luis Obispo
Take Los Osos Valley Road from San Luis Obispo towards Los Osos. Turn Left on to Bay View Heights Drive and Turn Right into driveway of Optometric Associates (2231 Bayview Heights Drive) and park in back. Entrance for my office is in the back of the building.
